As the grandson of Dr. Gil Gradinger, who was an early pioneer in Plastic Surgery, and a partner here at Peninsula, Dr. Wes was steeped in Plastic Surgery from a young age.

Having published over 50 scientific papers in Plastic Surgery’s top journals, and presented at over 20 conferences, he ranks among the very top tier of aesthetic-focused Plastic Surgeons contributing to the scientific literature. Furthermore, Dr. Wes has garnered over $5,000,000 in grant funding from the National Institute of Health and the National Science Foundation, for work that seeks to improve outcomes for Plastic Surgery patients.

Focusing on aesthetic interventions of the face, breast, and body, Dr. Wes has had dedicated training under Plastic Surgery’s thought-leaders including Dr. Lou Bucky, Dr. Scott Bartlett, Dr. Bahman Guyuron, and his senior partner Dr. Lorne Rosenfield.

Dr. Wes places a premium on face-to-face time with patients, as well as compassionate, crystal-clear communication. He vehemently believes that the singular goal of any aesthetic intervention is to improve one’s quality of life, and that starts first with a shared goal and understanding.

He lives in San Francisco with his wife Dr. Leah Zuroff, a Neurologist at UCSF.
